Class includes cleaning procedures, equipment overview, odor removal versus cover methods, scoping a fire loss together and touring of fully equipped mitigation and restoration warehouse.

    Commercial Disaster Planning will review the phases of disaster management, emergency action plans, how to devise an emergency action plan and guidelines for a successful plan. The phases of disaster management include preparedness response, mitigation, and recovery. While we cannot always prevent disasters and emergencies, in some cases we can help to minimize damage. We can also plan for how to handle communications, safety and survival until the emergency or disaster has passed or been repaired.

    The purpose of this course is to familiarize insurance professionals with analyzing a water claim, their life cycles, the steps necessary to keep them from turning into mold claims, and general information concerning mold. This class is highly engaging, with a tour of the water mitigation facility and live demonstrations of extractions by an IICRC Master Technician in textile cleaning.
